HOW WE SELL
Multiple channels. Maximum recovery.
We don't rely on a single method. Depending on your assets, timeline, and goals, we deploy the right combination of channels to achieve the strongest possible return.
Timed Online Auctions
Competitive online bidding that reaches buyers across the globe, maximizing exposure and driving strong results for machinery, equipment, inventory, and other commercial assets. All bidding takes place exclusively online, with no on-site bidding required.
Timed Online Auctions
We manage the entire auction process, from asset cataloguing and photography to targeted marketing, competitive bidding, payment collection, and removal coordination.
Our established auction platform connects your assets with qualified buyers locally, nationally, and internationally, creating competition and maximizing recovery.
Live Auctions
Real-time auctions conducted either in person at the sale location or through an online-only webcast, with an auctioneer calling bids as they happen. Ideal for construction equipment, vehicles, and other commercial assets where competitive bidding can drive strong results.
Live Auctions
We handle every aspect of the live auction, including sale preparation, marketing, bidder registration, auction-day management, payment collection, and removal coordination.
Whether conducted at your premises or through a live webcast, we deliver a professionally managed sale designed to attract qualified buyers and maximize asset recovery.
Retail Liquidation Sales
Public in-store liquidation sales designed to attract shoppers, drive foot traffic, and convert inventory, merchandise, fixtures, and equipment into cash. We offer both fully managed liquidations and consulting services tailored to your needs.
Retail Liquidation Sales
We develop a comprehensive liquidation strategy before the first sale sign goes up, including inventory assessment, pricing, targeted marketing, and store operations.
Whether managing the sale directly or advising your existing team, we use structured discounting, hands-on management, and ongoing sales analysis to maintain momentum and maximize recovery.
Wholesale Liquidations
Direct sales of inventory, machinery, equipment, and other commercial assets to qualified buyers, resellers, and dealers. Ideal for bulk inventory, specialized assets, and situations where a negotiated sale offers greater flexibility or a faster recovery.
Wholesale Liquidations
We leverage our established network of industry contacts, wholesale buyers, and resellers to identify opportunities and negotiate sales directly.
From evaluating assets and identifying potential buyers to negotiating offers and coordinating transactions, we manage the process to achieve competitive returns while minimizing time, costs, and operational disruption.

Serving clients across Canada, with select cross-border engagements in the United States.

FAQS
Quick answers to common questions.
If you're not ready to contact us but have a question about the auction or liquidation process, you may find your answer here.
What is the difference between an auction, a liquidation sale, and wholesale?
These are three distinct methods. An auction is a competitive bidding event where buyers bid against each other, driving prices up. A liquidation sale is a public in-store event where items are sold at marked-down prices. Wholesale is a bulk sale to resellers or dealers at a negotiated price. We assess your assets and recommend the best method, or combination, for your situation.
How long does it take to liquidate business assets?
It depends on the volume and type of assets. A retail closing can take 4 to 12 weeks (or longer). A large industrial or manufacturing disposition typically takes 4 to 8 weeks from engagement to final settlement. We work around your timeline and deadlines wherever possible.
Do you provide an appraisal or valuation before the sale?
We provide a range of expected recovery value as part of our initial assessment at no charge. This gives you a realistic picture of what your assets are likely to return before any agreement is signed. If a formal certified appraisal is required by a creditor, trustee, or court, that is a separate service that can be arranged for with a cost to the client.
What are your fees and how do you charge?
The exact rate depends on the scope of the engagement. We provide a clear, written proposal before any work begins with no hidden fees.
How are sale proceeds paid out and how quickly will we receive funds?
It depends on the structure of your engagement. In some cases we purchase assets outright, in which case you receive payment before the sale takes place. Where we offer a guaranteed minimum, that amount is secured regardless of results. For standard commission-based engagements, proceeds are reconciled and disbursed after the sale closes and buyer payments clear, typically within 7-10 days of final collections. In all cases, you receive a full accounting of every item sold and every dollar collected.
What happens if some items don’t sell?
We set opening bid prices low enough to encourage competitive bidding and help ensure everything sells. In most cases, this approach results in full clearance of the premises. In the rare event that items remain unsold, we work with you to determine next steps, whether that is a post-auction private sale, donation, or disposal. By the end of the engagement, the premises is left broom swept and cleared.
Who handles marketing?
We do. Our team manages all photography, copywriting, online listings, email campaigns, and buyer registration. Whether the sale is an industrial auction or a retail liquidation, we bring an established buyer database and handle all inquiries, qualification, and communication throughout the process. For retail sales, we also manage in-store signage, pricing, staffing, and customer-facing operations from start to finish.
Do you have your own customer database?
Yes. Danbury Global maintains an extensive database of buyers developed over years of experience, including more than 70,000 subscribers to our email marketing campaigns. Our network spans a wide range of industries and includes businesses, dealers, resellers, investors, and individual buyers across Canada and internationally.
This established network allows us to market assets directly to relevant buyers, generate immediate interest, and maximize exposure from the start of every sale.
Who is responsible for removal, loading, pickup, and cleanup after an auction sale?
Buyers are responsible for removal of purchased items within the agreed timeframe. We coordinate scheduling and supervise the process. Post-sale cleanup and facility clearing terms are outlined in the engagement agreement and can be tailored to your landlord or lease requirements.
Can you work with landlords, trustees, receivers, or secured creditors?
Yes. This is a significant part of our practice. We regularly work alongside trustees in bankruptcy, receivers, secured creditors, and legal counsel to manage asset dispositions that satisfy court requirements, creditor obligations, and landlord agreements.
Can you handle urgent or time-sensitive liquidations?
Yes. We have experience managing accelerated timelines driven by lease expiry, court orders, or operational shutdowns. Contact us as early as possible as the more lead time we have, the better the outcome. We can mobilize quickly when needed.
Can you buy the assets outright or offer a guaranteed minimum?
In select situations, yes. Depending on the nature and value of the assets, we may be able to offer a guaranteed minimum return or an outright purchase. This is discussed on a case-by-case basis during the initial consultation.
What information do you need to get started? Do we need a full inventory list?
No full inventory is required to start the conversation. A general description of the assets, your location, and your timeline is enough for an initial assessment. We gather the detail we need during our site visit or remote review.
Why should we use Danbury Global instead of selling the assets ourselves?
Selling assets effectively takes more than finding a buyer. It requires the right strategy, market knowledge, targeted marketing, an established buyer network, and the resources to manage the entire process.
Danbury Global brings decades of experience, an extensive buyer network, and proven sales strategies to maximize exposure and asset recovery. From initial planning through final removal, we handle the details, saving you valuable time and allowing you to focus on your business.
Our goal is to maximize your net recovery while minimizing the time, cost, and effort required on your end. Our value is measured by what we recover, not simply what we do.
